Lush | Seanik Shampoo Bar

I came across Lush shampoo bars a couple of years ago now and instantly fell in love with one in particular, seanik. I am a big fan of beaches and the feeling of being by the sea at summer, and this shampoo just brings all them feelings into one little bar.

The bar contains seaweed and sea salt, which makes it smell literally like the sea, however, it also has lemon in it which makes it more refreshing. Now the main reason why I love this shampoo is the smell but it has other qualities that make it great as well. My hair is naturally fairly curly and this shampoo brings my curls out a lot better. I also believe it makes my hair shinier which could be because of the lemon.

The shampoo also says that it is supposed to give volume and whilst many other people have said that it has done just that, I haven't found it to add volume to my hair but don't see that as a downside.

Although the shampoo is very little it lasts for a very long time and the size comes in handy if you wanted to take it away on holiday.

Soap & Glory | Favourites

Soap and glory have been a favourite of mine since I got one of their famous christmas gift sets, way back around 5 years ago. Since then I have been building up my collection, always trying their newest products, the different smells and even their make up range. Today I am going to show you some of my top products of theirs.

Soap & glory's 'The Righteous Butter' has been a favourite of mine from the get go. I am a big fan of soap and glory's original pink fragrance, it's so light and in a good way, plain. The righteous butter is easy enough to use after getting out the bath or just before getting ready. I have tried many different body butters but I always end up coming back to this one.

'Hand Food' is another classic favourite of mine. I will admit first of all I didn't really intend to use this, but ended up getting many bottles for christmas and therefore wanted to get through them. However, now I carry a miniature bottle of this everywhere I go. Working in an ice cream parlour my hands get wet a lot and so I often like to take this to work to keep my hands soft and also smelling good. Hand food has the same original pink fragrance which is a bonus.

'Whipped Clean' is the newest member of my Soap & Glory favourites collection. I am in love with the smell of this, it literally does smell like whipped cream, however, I can see that that smell may not be for everyone. I haven't used this product as much as all my other favourites, but it is definitely worth a buy.

Now 'Rich & Foamous' is my absolute favourite shower and bath body wash. It is amazing! I will admit I came across this product after watching a youtuber talk about it and knew I wanted to try it because the smell sounded so different from all their other products. The fragrance contains almond, honey and oats which may sound peculiar but it makes such a lovely smell. I much prefer this fragrance to the sweet 'sugar crush' smell, which I find a bit too overpowering. I also think the smell of this product is appealing to both female and males, although the packaging may not be so appealing to the males.

COLAB | Dry Shampoo

Everyone uses dry shampoo now and again. It's a brilliant product that's helped business women to festival goers keep their hair looking fresh even when they haven't had a chance to wash it. Now usually I go for Batiste dry shampoo as I know it works well and comes in great fragrances however, the other day my hair wasn't feeling so fresh whilst I was out and all superdrug had was COLAB so I thought I would test it out.

Now the COLAB series comes with a range of different smells but I picked up NEW YORK which is a fruity fragrance in a lovely silver and orange bottle. I must admit I'm not too fussed on the smell, it just smells a bit like hairspray to me but I loved the look of the bottle and therefore decided to get this one.

Now at first when using it I didn't think it worked very well but then after putting a fair bit more on it left my hair looking and feeling great. I think the best thing about this is the fact it has a 'sheer invisible formula' which doesn't leave white marks in your hair like other dry shampoos do.

Overall I like this product but wouldn't go over the top in calling it amazing. I think it has potential with the fact it doesn't leave white marks but still you need to use a lot of it in one time for it to work. I'm going to try this product out a few more times but I think Batiste is still number 1 in dry shampoos for me.
